  • Input voltage (B and I): 9 to 18 volts
  • Normal current draw: less than 0.25 amps
  • Current protected (self-resetting): BAT(1A), IGN(0.25A), PUMP(0.25A), FAN(0.25A), O(0.25A)
  • Main Control Circuit Voltage: 9 volts
  • Thermistor Control Voltage: 6.6 volts

Timing Characteristics:

  • Pump Pulse On-time: 0.5 to 3 seconds
  • Pump Pulse Off-time: 2 to 14 seconds
  • Initialization time: less than 0.5 seconds
  • After-run: 10 to 270 seconds

Connections:

  • BAT — Battery Connection
  • IGN — Ignition Connection
  • GND — Ground Connection
  • PUMP — Pump relay ground for activation coil
  • FAN — Fan relay ground for activation coil
  • OVER — Overheat warning device ground (less than 0.25A)
  • T+ — Thermistor Connection
  • T- — Thermistor Connection

LED Activation triggers:

  • Green — 9 volt power is on
  • Blue — Pump relay grounding active
  • Yellow – Fan relay grounding active
  • Red – Overheat grounding active
  • Green, Blue, Yellow and Red (engine not overheating) — Open wire to thermistor
  • Blue, Yellow and Red — Circuit failure

Jumper configurations:

  • JP1 — Enable on-board Thermistor emulator. The thermistor must be disconnected from T+ if JP1 is shorted.
  • JP2 — Shorted will disable After-run
  • JP3 — Shorted will enable the Pump during After-run (Fan only otherwise)
  • JP4 — Open will extend the range of the Off-time pulse from 2 to 8 seconds to 8 to 14 seconds.
